More fresh faces join the next entry into the Scream franchise, one of these faces being no stranger at all to horror.
Samara Weaving and Tony Revolori join the cast of Scream 6, the film currently in production and filming in Montreal. With roles in Ash vs Evil Dead, Ready of Not and The Babysitter, Samara Weaving will be right at home in the new Scream film, her co-star Tony Revolori, bully to Tom Holland's Spider-Man, will find his place as well in the sixth Scream film, scheduled to release next year.
Samara Weaving and Tony Revolori join an already stacked Scream cast with the addition of Dermot Mulroney, and the return of Hayden Panettiere's Kirby Reed from Scream 4. Courteney Cox is also set to star in the upcoming Scream film, that will also include survivors Jenna Ortega, Melissa Barrera, Mason Gooding, and Jasmine Savoy Brown, from the last film.
Directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, and written by James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick, the new Ghostface tale will shift locations from Woodsboro, California, to New York City this time around, for the sixth film in the Scream saga, which will release next year on Friday, March 31, 2023.
