Joseph Quinn, the breakout star of Stranger Things 4, is currently in talks with those behind A Quiet Place: Day One, for a lead role in the film that is currently in pre-production.
If talks go well, Joseph Quinn will join Lupita Nyong'o for the next Quiet Place film, a spinoff from the other two movies that will shift focus from the Abbott family, to other survivors within the same universe. While the decision to cast Joseph Quinn is not finalized yet, and plot details for the film are unknown, having Quinn in any role in the upcoming Quiet Place film is surely going to draw attention from the Stranger Things fanbase. I know they have my attention.
Announced back in 2020, A Quiet Place: Day One will be directed by Michael Sarnoski, who also serves as a writer for the film. Based on an idea from John Krasinski, it appears the actor/writer/director will be hands off with the Quiet Place spinoff, Krasinski busy with his role as Jack Ryan and on A Quiet Place Part III, I assume.
