Cast Your Vote For Horror In Fangoria's 2022 Chainsaw Awards

Can you hear the chainsaws in the distance? I can. The 16th annual Fangoria Chainsaw Awards ceremony is ramping up and those at Fangoria are asking fans to cast their votes for their favorite horror nominees.

Honoring the genre of horror since 1992, The Chainsaw Awards have celebrated horror films and television shows in numerous categories, almost like a combined Academy Awards and Golden Globes for horror. Fans can vote for those nominated in categories like Best Director, Best Lead, Best Supporting Role, more recently Best Streaming Premiere, and of course, Best Kill.

The nominees are plenty this year with films like Censor, Candyman, Malignant, Last Night in Soho and Fear Street: Part Three - 1666 on the ballot. Those competing for awards in the performance categories have their work cut out for them. The nominations for Best Performance are stacked with horror icon Barbara Crampton and others nominees like Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Thomasin McKenzie and Anya Taylor-Joy. Up for the award of Best Supporting Performance you have big names like Larry Fessenden, Millicent Simmonds and the late Diana Rigg vying for the award.

Awards for Best Score, Best Screenplay, Best Makeup FX and Achievement in Non-Fiction are looking for horror fans to cast their votes now and until March 31 at 11:59 PM EST. Be sure to vote here!
