We’ve known since last year that a new entry into the horrific Evil Dead saga was coming, we didn’t know when though. Then COVID-19 hit and we had no idea of anything, it seemed like everything was placed on the back burner.
A few days ago Bruce Campbell sat down with Ben Travis over at Empire and shared some rather exciting news about the next Evil Dead film, titled Evil Dead Now.
Production moves forward with Evil Dead Now and with a director on board, filming can soon commence. “Sam handpicked Lee. He did a cool movie called The Hole in the Ground. We’re going to get that sucker out soon as practical,” says Campbell.
Lee Cronin will write and direct the next Evil Dead installment, telling a new story within the Evil Dead universe. Here’s to hope for a couple of Ash cameos in the future.
