John Carpenter, the Legend of Horror behind Halloween, They Live, Christine, The Thing and Big Trouble in Little China, will receive the Fantasia Lifetime Achievement Award at the Fantasia International Film Festival later in August.
Director and composer John Carpenter, along with lifetime partner Debra Hill, would create and help pave the way for the future of the horror genre, we fans know and love today. The Fantasia International Film Festival will recognize the blood, sweat, tears and triumph, John Carpenter has put into the world of entertainment, a dedication that spans more than 60 years.
The Fantasia International Film Festival will run online from August 20 through September 2.
