GAMING: Horror Survival Game 'Allison Road'

Is this P.T. inspired first-person survival horror game going to be the next scary hit?

Allison Road has gone through its share of ups and downs that seem more and more common in the realm of video game development. When first announced back in 2015, Allison Road has, up until today, garnered more than 3 million views on its YouTube video. The developer at the time Lilith Ltd. first tried to fund Allison Road with a Kickstarter campaign for $384,000, making progress towards it goal but when Team17 got involved the Kickstarter was cancelled and things at the time were looking good for the horror game being made on the Unreal Engine 4.

So what happened?

Well, what happened was that Allison Road was cancelled on June 4th of 2016 but that has not stopped Chris Kesler of the smaller studio, Far From Home, from developing the game with his wife. Kesler, an avid gamer and having past experience in film, sees no reason why he shouldn’t continue to develop Allison Road. As of now there is no release date yet but for those of us that have been following closely, we hope to Allison Road on PC and shortly after on console.
