While doing work for his new film Escape Room, in which he plays a trucker with a traumatic past, Tyler Labine talked about the very real possibilities of another Tucker & Dale vs. Evil movie.
"Yes. We're working on something right now. I wouldn't call it a film sequel, but the story is not done being told. I can't really tell you much, but we're in development with a couple of things right now. Things are looking pretty good. Alan and I are both still on board, along with Eli."
Tucker & Dale vs. Evil is a horror comedy released back in 2010 starring Labine, Alan Tudyk and Katrina Bowden. Tucker & Dale saw Labine and Tudyk as hillbillies in West Virginia on their way to their new vacation home. On their way they encounter the dumbest group of teens ever spawned who manage to get themselves killed in the most humorous ways, right before the hillbillies eyes.
"We're going to get something to the fans because that's really the only reason we want to do it. No one's getting rich off this thing. Alan and I have always been like, "Whatever we do has to be for the people that stuck with it and made it what it is."That's all the fans. Hopefully, something will come to fruition."
While no guarantee yet of the movie, it is nice to know that the idea is being worked on and we can hopefully get another Tucker & Dale movie soon.
