Lar Park Lincoln, best known for playing Tina Shepard in Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood, passed away on April 22, 2025, at the age of 63.

Born Laurie Jill Park in Dallas, Texas, Lar began her acting career in the 1980s. Her early credits include Children of the Night (1985) and House II: The Second Story (1987), but it was The New Blood (1988) that made her a fan favorite. Her portrayal of Tina, a telekinetic teen who faced off against Jason Voorhees, brought a fresh, new take to the Friday the 13th series. She also starred as Linda Fairgate on Knots Landing, appearing in dozens of episodes from 1987 to 1991.

Lar stepped back from acting in the '90s after the death of her husband, Michael Lincoln, but returned in the 2000s with new projects, including Inspector Mom, 13 Fanboy (2021), and the fan-made Rose Blood, where she reprised her role as Tina.

Beyond acting, Lar made a huge impact offscreen. She founded Actors Audition Studios in Texas, where she taught young performers. She also published Get Started, Not Scammed, a guide for new actors, and had been writing her autobiography, Lucky Girl.

Lar battled breast cancer bravely for over a decade, undergoing multiple surgeries, and through it all, she kept working, teaching, and giving back to the horror community.
