Blumhouse is retooling Fantasy Island as a movie but the screams that come with it may not be from excitement or pleasure.
The poster doesn't reveal much, showing a small plane in the bottom right corner while promoting #NeverComingHome near the middle. It's also fun to note that the island resembles a face about to swallow up the plane.
Michael Peña will be stepping into the role of Mr. Roarke, the host with the most luxurious island retreat, who will treat his guests to fun island living. However, with Blumhouse and the producers of Halloween and Get Out onboard, this trip to Fantasy Island may not be the funtimes everyone was expecting.
The cards are still close to the chest on this one and the tweet does promise more on Monday, whether it's a new poster or trailer, we have no idea but what we do know is the film will star Michael Peña, Maggie Q, Michael Rooker, Lucy Hale and Kim Koates, and is set to release in theaters next year on Valentine's Day, February 14th, 2020.
