NEW ROLE: James Marsden Interested in Role of Stu Redman for CBS All Access' 'The Stand'

The adaptation of Stephen King's epic novel The Stand will possibly see James Marsden (X-Men, HBO's Westworld) in the role of Stu Redman, if everything works out.

Marsden is the first mention of anyone filling any role in the limited series and he's definitely not going to be the last. With so many roles to fill we should be hearing more casting news as the summer goes on.

Announced as an exclusive ten episode series for CBS All Access, the broadcasting company's streaming service will see Josh Boone write, produce and direct the horror/fantasy post-apocalyptic limited series.

With no release date in sight things could change for the series but I for one feel that James Marsden would make a great Stu Redman.
