EVENT: 'Darkside in Riverside' Unleashes Three Days of Horror on the Inland Empire

Starting tonight at 5:00pm, Downtown Riverside will play host to scares and frights for all those that are in attendance, in what is only day one of three nights of horror.

Sponsored by LifeStream Blood Bank, Darkside in Riverside will kick things off right, and for a good cause, with a blood drive that is open to all those willing to donate. At 8:00pm scare-tastic festivities will begin with the attendee's choice of either "Friday the 13th" 40th Anniversary Kick-off Celebration being hosted at the Fox Theatre, or the Yates Family Paranormal Haunted Walk starting at the Riverside Municipal Auditorium. Both events are sure to be a treat for horror fans and adding to the experience will be monsters of all kinds roaming the areas.

Still have some guts left in you? Come 10:00pm, the night of frights will continue, catering to the singles crowd as two dating events are planned, one hosted by Uncle Yuhki and the other by Blake & Whitney. Those looking for a fun dating experience should check out either event, even if it is just to meet new faces. That's not to say couples or those forever alone are excluded. Wrapping up the end of the night, attendees will be able to join others at the Fox Theatre, where a screening of Vampira the Movie will be held starting at 10:45pm. The last Yates Family Haunted Walk will also help to conclude the evening, the terrifying tour beginning at 11:00pm and ending at 1:00am.

For those late to the game and a free weekend, even if it is only a day, should maybe plan a trip to Riverside and get their ghoul on. Tickets can be purchased here.
