NEW ROLE: Donal Logue Joins ‘Resident Evil’ Reboot

Donal Logue steps into the role of Chief Irons, a character introduced in the Resident Evil 2 video game, as he joins the upcoming Resident Evil reboot helmed by Johannes Roberts.

Donal Logue will join Kaya Scodelario, Robbie Amell, Neal McDonough and Tom Hopper, for a new film that will rely heavily on the first two video games, as source material. The upcoming reboot is not the only Resident Evil project in the works at this time. A series is being developed by Netflix, while fans of the video game eagerly await the eighth installment that is scheduled to release early next year.
