VIDEO ON DEMAND: Universal To Release ‘The Invisible Man’ and ‘The Hunt’ Friday

Due to the world trying to slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus, most theaters have taken precautions and shut down for the time being. Universal, with a plan up their sleeve, has decided to release its two scarier feature films, along with others, digitally, so those staying in can still enjoy a movie experience.

The Hunt and The Invisible Man are two features that will be available on-demand through Amazon, Apple and Comcast this coming Friday. Those stuck at home can rent either of these movies for $19.99. The download will be available for 48 hours after purchase.

This might be big news for how theatrical movies are viewed in the future. Who knows? If this is a success maybe we might finally see home viewing of feature films become a more common thing in the future.
