TRAILER: 'Welcome to the Blumhouse' Gives First Look At First Four Films

Coming in October and just in time for the spookiest holiday of the year, Welcome to the Blumhouse, a horror collaboration from Blumhouse Productions and Amazon, promises to bring viewers eight original films dealing with everything the genre of horror has to offer. Trailers for the first four films appear below ready to immerse you in this new world of horror.

Black Box - A medical experiment utilizing virtual reality is used to help a widowed father deal with his memory loss and past trauma. However, what is supposed to be treatment begins to mix with reality, taking a very dark turn. Directed by Emmanuel Osei-Kuffour who co-wrote the film along with Wade Allain-Marcus and Stephen Herman, Black Box stars Mamoudou Athie, Phylicia Rashad and Amanda Christine. Coming October 6.




The Lie - The bonds of family run deep for this mother and father who try to cover up their daughter's crime, taking them all down a dark road. Directed by Veena Sud who co-wrote the film with Sebastian Ko and Marcus Seibert, The Lie stars Joey King, Peter Sarsgaard, Mireille Enos and Dani Kind. Coming October 6.




Evil Eye - When it comes to trusting and dating new people, sometimes mother knows best in this chiller that shows the dark side of a budding relationship. Directed by Elan Dassani and Rajeev Dassani and written by Madhuri Shekar, Evil Eye stars Sarita Choudhury, Sunita Mani, Omar Maskati and Bernard White. Coming October 13.




Nocturne - After finding the journal and writings of a deceased student, art academy student and shy, twin sister Juliet begins to emerge from her shell but what comes out may not be the shy, sweet Juliet everyone thought they knew. Written and directed by Zu Quirke, Nocturne stars Sydney Sweeney, Madison Iseman and Brandon Keener. Coming October 13.
