The new Child’s Play movie, directed by Lars Klevberg and penned by Tyler Burton Smith, gives us the best look yet at the new Chucky.
It’s still not a good reveal, marred by darkness and shadows but it’s the clearest look we’ve had at the new Chucky. From what can be seen, the new Chucky’s facial features look softer and more childlike, even while holding a butcher knife. The red hair is still there. The cloths are still there. I’ll admit the new look is not much of a reimagining.
Voiced by Mark Hamill, the new Chucky will have his big reveal on June 21st and probably a little before than with more trailers that are sure to come.
