SCREAMBOX - What To Look Out For In January!

A new year means new screams and those over at SCREAMBOX, brought to you by Cinedigm and Bloody Disgusting, have just that in store for horror fans everywhere, as we begin the year 2023.

Starting on January 13, subscribers to the premiere horror streaming service, can indulge their horror palettes with all kinds of frightening features, including documentaries, series, and of course, horror classics from some of the best providers of scares throughout the last half a century. Just Desserts: The Making of Creepshow, will be one of the documentaries coming to SCREAMBOX, along with some classic horror like Eaten Alive from Tobe Hooper, and Count Dracula starring Christopher Lee, who is the best Dracula in my opinion.

Other films making their premiere early in January on SCREAMBOX will be both Killer Crocodile films, Wax Mask from producer Dario Argento, and the 1977 horror anthology film, The Uncanny, starring horror powerhouses Peter Cushing and Donald Pleasence.

But the frights don't end there!

Beginning on January 17, In Dreams, from director Matías Moltrasio, and starring Bianca Brigitte Van Damme, will enjoy its SCREAMBOX premiere. In Dreams will tell the story of a young woman, whose dreams become reality shortly after the murder of her grandfather. Not to be mistaken for the 1999 Annette Bening film, In Dreams will also star Vannessa Vasquez and Chris Veres.

On January 24, subscribers can enjoy the feature film adaptation of Shigure Kondô's manga hit, Signal 100, from director Lisa Takeba. Released in Japan back in early 2020, Signal 100, will finally enjoy its North American premiere on SCREAMBOX, with a story that will see a group of hypnotized high school students who play a game with deadly consequences.

But wait! There's more!

Coming at the very end of January, subscribers can tune into Dawning, an exclusive SCREAMBOX feature film from Korea, written and directed by Young Min Kim. Starring Kim Ellis, Una Kim, and Veronica Kim, Dawning will tell the chilling story of a therapist's return to her childhood home to confront her family's dark past.

All the above and more -- seriously, so much more -- can be found on SCREAMBOX now, and throughout the month of January. For those that are just discovering SCREAMBOX today, I highly suggest you check out Pennywise: The Story of IT, a fantastic documentary about the 1990's miniseries.
