The holidays are right around the corner and with them comes The Apology, a horror thriller from Shudder that just released its official trailer today on YouTube.
The Apology tells the story of Darlene, a grieving mother turned to alcohol, who decides to host the Christmas family dinner at her house that year. All takes a turn for the worse however, when her ex brother-in-law unexpectedly turns up with strange gifts and a secret.
Written and directed by Alison Locke, The Apology stars Anna Gunn, Linus Roache, Janeane Garofalo, Holland Bailey, Esme McSherry, and Zena Leigh Logan.
Produced by Company X Productions, a female-led production company, The Apology will enjoy a premiere on Shudder next month on Friday, December 16.
