Netflix acquires the Fear Street movie trilogy from Disney with plans to release the films next year.
The three films based on the popular teen books by R.L. Stine, have been shot and made by 20th Century Studios but become Disney's property after the merger. Directed by Leigh Janiak who co-wrote the films with Kyle Killen and Phil Graziadei, Fear Street will star Gillian Jacobs, Sadie Sink and Olivia Welch.
Now in the hands of Netflix the Fear Street films are scheduled for release next year, in their original order, one after the other for three months.
