FIRST LOOK: James McAvoy as Bill From 'IT: Chapter Two'

Andy Muschietti, giving birthday wishes on Instagram to James McAvoy, gives us our first look at McAvoy as Bill Denbrough in Muschietti's IT: Chapter Two.

2018's hit IT was something to be admired by both new and old fans alike, bringing with it a truly terrifying and blood-drenched story. We also saw some great cinematography and acting by a team that was led by a brilliant director.

We've so far heard of a great cast put together by Muschietti and his team to tell the second part of the shape shifting terror that haunts the town of Derry, Maine. On board we have the talents of Jessica Chastain and Bill Hader, along with the talents of Jay Ryan and Isaiah Mustafa to round out the Losers Club with a final movie that is set to release in September of this year.

Looking back the character of Bill Denbrough first came to life on September 15th 1986 and was portrayed on the television screen by Little House on the Prairie star Richard Thomas. Thomas, with his characteristic mole and long hair, breathed a stellar life into the character and made the shoes of Bill Denbrough, in my opinion, hard to fill.

Then along comes Muschetti and McAvoy and given James McAvoy's performance in any movie he has been in, we can expect that he will do King's interpretation of Bill Denbrough right.

Of course we sit and wait in anticipation for the next bit of news from the new IT movie that will hit theaters this year in September.
