BUZZ: Character From Original 'Halloween' Returning For 'Halloween Kills'
Updated: Sep 21, 2021
Matt Donato, writing for Bloody Disgusting, is working those sources and has just dropped news that those involved with the new saga of Halloween are adding to their numbers.
With news coming out every week it seems like, upcoming sequels Halloween Kills and Halloween Ends will now see the return of Lonnie, a character not seen nor heard from since the John Carpenter cult classic. Haddonfield's little brat, Lonnie was last seen giving Tommy Doyle a hard time in the 1978 film and now will be making a come back, and quite possibly adding to the body count, of the already murderous town of Haddonfield.
Robert Longstreet (The Haunting of Hill House, Doctor Sleep) will be taking over the role that was played by Brent Le Page as a child. Not much detail is known about the role Lonnie will play in the new movies as word of plot has been tight lipped. One thing is for sure though, Halloween Kills will be coming to theaters next year October 16th, 2020.
