IN MEMORIAM: Billy Drago Passes at 73

It is sad to say that Billy Drago, a character actor from many films, has passed away due to complications from a stroke. A resident of Los Angeles, Drago was 73.

Vamp. Hunter's Blood. Friday the 13th: The Series. Charmed. Even if the movie or TV show isn't in the genre of horror, you've probably seen Billy Drago on screen at least once. His pointed features were enough to draw your eye away from any A-lister who happened to be on screen at the same time, even Clint Eastwood in Pale Rider and Kevin Costner in The Untouchables.

Starting his career in television, Drago played 'Brian' in the 1979 television movie No Other Love. He would go on to star alongside Chuck Norris in Invasion U.S.A. and then appear later on television's Charmed alongside Alyssa Milano, Holly Marie Combs and Rose McGowan. Until his death, Billy Drago enjoyed his residency in Los Angeles, marrying his wife Silvana Gallardo in 1980 and fathering two sons.
